Happiness

The third face comes closest to expressing my feel about my life as a whole. Some people ask me why you don't choose the second face? I think in my life totally is good. I have a worm family, my parents love me very much, they give me everything they can. They never abuse me when I did some mistakes, they just teach me what should I do, how can I do, and what is right what is wrong when I am doing something. Also I have a lot of friends, not only in China but also in Canada. We encourage and help each other when we face some problems in our study and life. I feel happy I possess these things in my life. But I seem to lack confidence that make me always be afraid to do many things, and mean I will miss lot of things.

Novel presentation

This is the first time I did the novel presentation. The novel project worked in a group. In my group only have two people-Ivy and I. I still remembered on that day, when I am doing my presentation I am very scared, I always forgot what was the next thing I need to say. I was so nervous that I pronounced many wrong words! Also I think I did not prepare the information of my notes were very well, and I did not practice enough time. According to this novel presentation, I believe my next presentation well do more better than this one

Short question#3 Women speak more than men

I agree that Women speak more than men. There is a joke I heard on the video by a lecture, that was a couple; they wanted to divorce when people asked them why, the woman said: he never talks with me two years. But the man said: that’s not my fault that because of you never give me a chance to speak. According to the lecture there are some studies to support this statement. For example, the study of Conversational Coherence, that showed us the 7, 8 years old boys do not talk serious things, and they use few words to answer questions. But the same age of girls are comfortable to communicate with other children, such as they can talk stories and share their experiments.
For the other research, three couples were separated on three males and three females. They have five experiments to research does men really speak less than women. One of experiment is Creative Expression that is how to write on radio by men and women. The research showed us men always wrote the fact thinks, but women wrote their opinions like I think or I feel. In the end, the result is women are the best speakers, they can talk a lot, and keep their relationship very well.

Why can some people learn a second language more easily than others?In my opinion,it depends on different people!Some people have motivation to push them to learn a second language,such as some people's job and some people who live a poor life.For example, when you work in an international company,in order to adapt to this job you will learn a second language as hard as you can. Also, if you know the second language, this can help you to find a very good job in your country,and you live in the poor family,finding a good job you can support your family,I think you will study very hard and faster than the other people. Other people have the ability of an extremely good memory. They can remember anything they see and learne. The third kind of people I think they can learn a second language more easily because of the environment.Like some CBC(Chinese born in Canada) they were born and grew up in Canada.In school, their teachers and friends all speaak English or French.They have a good environment for their studying second languages.Above these are only my opinions! Earth Day-Save the Environment

Article "Earth Day Canada" published in the Maclean's magazine on April 14, 2008 is talking about how are Canadias advancing environment action.Such as use the environmental education to teach people how their action can save our environment.Acconding to the author,in all of the world,a lot of countries they begain to face the effects of the climate chang and global warming.What should we do ?In the article author said"It doesn't take much to reduce your impact on the earth-small changes add up to big results."We can do some small things in our life,not only can make difference to the environment but also can save our money.Focus on our daily life author gave us some ways that tell us how to help the environment. In the general speaking there are six ways: Energy savings add up that use less energy can keep environment clean. Buy smart appliances which can save energy . Watch your water consumption it is help you to save water and money ,food and garden it means use your garden to plant more vegetations.Reduce and reuse,that tell us bring you own bags for shopping do not use plastics bags. And the last way is transportation tips, put your car in your house take metro or buses to work, that can decrease air pollution ,it's good for the environment.
Look at the picture，that is the earth where we are living,how beautifulf it is! Let's do something together to save our earth to save our posterity.
